 sharonSharon Hicks, Associate ASID, CKBD is the President of Carriage House Custom Homes. She is involved in all of the day-to-day activities of the company including showroom sales, product ordering and selections, vendor selections, design and selection activities. Sharon’s personal mission is to bring the best possible end result to everyone’s home.

Sharon has been a professional Kitchen and Bath designer working in the industry for over 15 years.    She is certified with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) as an Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer.  She is active within the NKBA currently serving on the local Board.   Sharon was also owner/manager at Cabinets Extraordinaire, in Sarasota, Florida which she owned with her husband and recently sold to bring her talents to Tennessee and be closer to her grand-children.  With a passion for community service and involvement, Sharon is involved locally with the Historic Downtown Franklin Association and The Boys and Girl Club of Middle Tennessee  which give her the opportunity to lend her time and talents to help make a difference in her community.

Scott Hilla is the Senior Project Manager. Scott oversees all of our cabinetry sales, and residential remodel projects.  He is AutoCad and 20/20 Design trained and brings many years of  sales and design experience to  Carriage House.  Scott  relocated to Franklin from Sarasota, Florida in 2015 and enjoys mountain biking, hiking and boating in his spare time.

Scott’s professional mission is to ensure satisfaction with each client.  Whether remodeling one area of the home or many areas, construction can become overwhelming at times  and Scott prides himself on his ability to put his clients needs first and keep their minds at ease from start to finish.

Kelsey Benson is our social media / showroom coordinator. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, where she studied media communications. Kelsey’s professional passion and goal is to always promote positive content through social channels. Although social media is her main interest, she loves everything related to digital media, marketing, and graphic design. We welcome you to follow our social channels to see her work in action! Kelsey is also the first friendly face you will meet when visiting our showroom. When she’s not posting content online, she keeps our showroom clean and organized.  

Outside of work, you can usually find Kelsey dancing, at a concert, or dreaming of traveling the world. She is a volunteer assistant dance teacher and loves getting to help children grow confidence and skills through dancing.

Kellie Martinez is our Accounting Manager. She has a degree in accounting as well as psychology, though her passion is working with numbers. She has been in the accounting field for nearly two decades in various industries. Kellie also helps with answering phones and is learning to assist with both sales and project management.

When Kellie isn’t crunching numbers, she spends her free time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and kayaking.

Waine Hicks is a Tennessee licensed General Contractor Residential/Commercial who brings craftsmanship to his work. With over 50 years of construction experience he thoroughly enjoys the building process and bringing dreams into reality.  Attention to detail and customer service has been the foundation of his business ethic.

In his spare time, Waine enjoys his horses, fishing, baseball and spending time with his family and most importantly his grandchildren.  Waine is dedicated to making a difference in everything he does.
